National “Abilympics” Championship
In Russia, “Abilympics” competitions have been held since 2015. Over this time, the championship movement has proven an effective model of comprehensive professional rehabilitation and become a key tool in creating an inclusive educational environment for people with disabilities and special needs.
Competitions in 29 skill areas will take place at the Gostiny Dvor Exhibition Center.

On one of the stages, Nikolay Nikolaevich Beregovoy, President of the RBF, spoke as a speaker
Nikolay Nikolaevich discussed the development of blind football in Russia, sports facilities, athlete training routines, and athletes’ personal lives.
Participants took part in discussions on employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

The Federation’s “Audience Choice Award” went to Darya Gorbunova from Novosibirsk in the “Sports Training” category.
